How many bridal showers, birthday parties, baby showers, house warming parties have you attended within the last 12 months? For me, at least 10 including the kids birthday parties – HAHA!
I love receiving homemade gift baskets especially if they include alcohol! I recently attended one of my girlfriends Bridal Shower and for some reason making a cute little gift basket for her just spoke to me.
I always start off with a universal basket, basically something not too big and not too small. Then I really like to add a book of some soft depending what the theme of the basket is that I’m making. If it was a full cocktail making basket then maybe a how to make cocktails book.
Next, I like to add something with height and with this basket it was a mini charcuterie board also known as a cutting board. There are so many multiple uses for cutting boards, they can either be used for decor, actual cutting, displaying home decor or displaying charcuterie. Honestly, no one can have enough serving boards!
Some kind of fragrance is next, either a candle, essential oils, or a Pure plugin. It’s such a nice touch when your gift ALSO has a lovely scent to it! Try and give something universal, as in the scent, not everyone love pine or florals, stick with vanillas and light airy scents!
Lastly, If I know the giftee is a drinker, then I do like to add some kind of alcohol. Either it’s a wine or sparkling wine and sometimes something harder like a whiskey or tequila; with chasers of course!
This is a fool-proof easy and caring gift to give to anyone over the holidays and for their special day!
