Allegiant Stadium Tour

Did you ever think Vegas would get an NHL team, then WNBA team and now NFL team? Yeah me either! Originally from Chicago, we had sports playing in our house a good portion of the day; either the Blackhawks, Chicago Bears, or the White Sox (we are Sox fans and not Cubs fans)! It was always something. Now being in Las Vegas for almost 21 years, it’s about time we were able to represent some home teams!

If you ever come visit Las Vegas, I highly suggest taking the extra time to visit Allegiant Stadium. The floor plan and bones are based on Dallas’s AT&T stadium — which is state of the art! We have real grass that is rolled in for only Raider’s games and then the Field Turf for UNLV college games and group events.  You can schedule a stadium tour here.

Some fun facts about the stadium:
1. It has 28,000 tons of structural steel; heavier than the Statue of Liberty.
2. Has 12,000 miles of concrete driller shaft that supports the stadium
3. Has 44 escalators.
4. Has 2,200 TVs in the stadium.
5. The Al Davis Memorial Torch stands 92 feet tall.
6. 75,000 sq ft of video boards
7. 95,000 sq ft of event space
8. The sliding field weighs 19 million lbs and is powered by 72 motors
9. There is 105,000 cubic yards of concrete
10. 425 trees were planted on the grounds

Let me know if you’ve visited the stadium of if you go to any Raider’s games below!
